Tyler Whitaker is a Boston-based artist, designer, community event producer, and DJ (aka DJ Mx.Demeanor). A rising force in Boston’s queer underground, he is dedicated to creating spaces of queer cultural production. Through music, dance, and art, Tyler provides the space and time for his community to come together and be safe, joyful, and free. Through his design work, he explores how form and function can combine to communicate queerness.

Born and raised in Colorado, Tyler’s connection to the outdoors remains strong. A frequent camper and forest raver, Tyler enjoys wilderness escapes with his community that reinforce bonds away from the distractions of city life. He is proud to assist the Oath by managing their Instagram account, maintaining the Oath website, and more.
